Hosting & Technology

zocoCloud for Unions websites are Level 1 PCI compliant and use a 128-bit encryption for guaranteed security. A Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is enabled throughout the site. We run malware security scans and provide daily backup.

No, you will always own your own domain name. When you’re ready to launch your site, we’ll help ensure your new site displays on your domain.

Everyone needs a reliable email service. And it’s something that we tend to take for granted until something goes wrong. We provide high-security email hosting on a dedicated email server. This way, if your website ever goes offline, your email still works!

The cost is $50/month for 12 mailboxes, and $3.50/mo for each additional mailbox. Aliases are included at no additional cost.

zocoCloud provides a proprietary customer user interface for ease of use. Our sites are based on the WordPress engine for reliability.

Design

Definitely! All zocoCloud for Unions packages are upgradable. Additionally, we meet with each union towards the end of the school year to discuss any custom features or additions you may want. We then provide you with an estimate, and upon your approval, we upgrade your site over the summer.

Yes. Every zocoCloud website is mobile friendly and responsive, ensuring your website experience adjusts according to the device your visitor is using.

Integrations

Definitely! All zocoCloud for Unions packages include Google Calendar integration to display important school-year calendar dates.

Additionally, our Dynamic and Ultimate packages feature our CLASSES + WORKSHOP registration system with optional online payment.

zocoCloud for Unions online payment add-on integrates with PayPal and Stripe. 

Yes, zocoCloud for Unions can integrate directly with MailChimp, MailerLite, Constant Contact and more.

zocoCloud also offers a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) an Email Marketing Automation Add-on so you can easily aggregate your own list of viewers and constituents and update them regularly with a letter from your union’s President and other important communications.

Branding & Content

You will need to provide, at a minimum, a logo and page content in order to get started with the design process.Page content is submitted through an online form. Sharing additional branding is encouraged as well, especially high resolution photography. Logos files should have a transparent background and the file type should be .png, .ai, or .eps. The recommended width is 500 – 1000px and the height varies based on design.

Yes! Through our parent company, zocoloco studios, we can design a custom logo specifically for your union. Send us an email at hello@zoco.cloud to get an estimate.

Photos on your zocoCloud for Unions sites should be between 500KB and 800KB in order to ensure fast load times. Resolution varies depending on how the images are being used. The file types should be .jpeg. If you do not have professional photography, we have access to a collection of high-resolution stock photos as a placeholder until you have professional photography of your own available.

Yes. Our websites support video content which can be displayed in a main image gallery or embedded into the website. Video has to be hosted on Vimeo or YouTube, should be under 1 minute, and shot at a 16:9 aspect ratio.

While we do add a handful of content items so that it will appear complete when launched, transfer is not included in the base price. Please request a quote for transfer if needed. Alternatively, we can archive your current site to a subdomain (ie. archive.your-union.org) and you can transfer important content from your archive site the new site after it is live.

In as little as 3 weeks! Naturally this depends on a variety of factors. Custom feature requests take additional time. We’re a small company of conscientious creatives providing attention to detail for each union. We schedule projects in the order they are received. What are you waiting for?

Training & Support

Our zocoCloud custom user interface makes it easy to add, edit and delete content on our Dynamic and Ultimate packages. It’s easy to learn! Additionally, as a zocoCloud subscriber, you have access to our online library of training videos. Learn at your convenience! Anytime you need a refresher, the videos are there for your reference.

Our online support ticket system is available 24/7! In general, we reply within 1 business day during our normal business hours.

Cost

zocoCloud site for Unions start at $4500 for informational sites. and $7000 for dynamic sites with features that meet most union’s needs. View the zocoCloud Packages for details. We will provide an estimate for custom features and any additional anticipated costs prior to starting the project. No surprises!

Our subscription fee of $139.95 per month includes web hosting, SSL certificate, malware security scans, daily backup, plugin subscription fees and basic maintenance.

Beyond the initial package cost and low-cost monthly subscription fee, there may be outside fees depending on specific features you request. For example, if you want to sell merchandise on your website or charge for events, there will be associated merchant fees. There may also be additional subscription fees related to specific features.
